One of the animal books in the Early Bird Nature Books, Arctic Foxes provides extensive information about the fox and its family. From relationships to food hunting to coloration, the habits and life of the fox are explained in an easy-to-understand manner with the definitions of the more difficult words embedded in the text.
Colorful, interesting photographs appear on each page, illustrating specifics from the narrative text. The back matter includes a section for the adults, suggested reading and websites, a glossary, and an index.

Just found you via In Need of Chocolate, and I’m so glad I did – your blog is just the resource I’ve been looking for! Am off to add it to my blogroll
Thank you so much. I’m really glad you like the blog.
The Arctic on the cover is so beautiful. Good idea that you suggested, to look into octopus camouflage as well.
I meant Arctic _fox_ on the cover…
I loved the photos in this book. They were gorgeous. The information was good, too. I couldn’t resisit the cover fox.
Thanks. I saw a special–can’t remember which one–and it showed the octopus changing colors. I didn’t realize they did it so quickly.
